Up and Going! April 20, 2008

Richard fixed all the kinks in the motor and now it's up and running. Now all we need to get is some seats for it.
Jonathan was the first to catch a fish.

This little guy eyes were bigger than it's mouth. The mino was a little to big for him.
Then David caught a fish.
That's a nice one.

A side wall on the lake....look closer,
there's some pretty purple flowers.
A red tail hawk caught a fish. Look closely and you'll see it in it's feet.

trying to catch a big one,
The guys enjoy going out to fish, I like to go out and take pictures. =] Yes, I do have a jacket on, it's only 65 out today.

David caught another one

a closer look of it.
The view of Nashville Shores from the lake.
This radar tells you the tempature of the water, how deep the lake is and it will show you the fish that are around us. Pretty cool instrument.

Some ducks flying above us.
A grey or blue Haren

I love this picture of the ducks flying off of the lake.

The sun is starting to set.

April 08 Spring is here.

Last Sunday we took the kids to the park for some fishing and we cooked out. Jonathan brought one of his friends with him.
And David brought 3 of the kids that he babysits for with him.

Sarah use to babysit them till she got a job, then Rebekah use to babysit them till she got a job.
So now David is their babysitter. =]

Here is some of the gang.
Nala was enjoying a nice spring day.
She decided to go tree climbing just for the fun of it. =]
Here are some pictures of the guys working on the boat.
They installed a new consul.
I was heading back home one morning after dropping Richard off and this is what I saw.
Time to cut the grass again after a 5 month break.
This is a bird house that Richard and Jonathan made back in September.
This is what's in it now. There's actually 6 eggs in there now. These birds lay one egg a day till they're done.
These are the proud parents, Eastern Bluebird. Isn't this cute, they're sharing a meal together.
Here comes daddy to check on the babies.
The daddy has pretty blue feathers on his back.
Here are the love birds sitting and keeping watch on their nest.
This is the mommy. Her feathers are a light color with a few blue feathers on her tail.
She's getting ready to leave to nest.
Last night I went outside on the front porch and found this little guy hanging above me. If you can't tell, it's a bat.
He's pretty cool. Richard and Jonathan also built a bat house this past September. I wonder if he's living in it.
Nala is enjoying her new box.
Here are the guys enjoying a relaxing evening after the lift a thon.
