Hailey at 2 1/2 weeks old got sick with Meningitis from birth. We almost lost her. She was in restpitory
distress by the time she got to the emergency room. They informed Rebekah and Drew that Hailey survive but that they could also lose her. Less than 24 hours God did a miracle. Hailey started breathing on her own and getting good oxygen. This is Richard (grandpa) praying over Hailey.
Our pastor came by and prayed over her too.
We had churches and friends praying all over the world for this precious baby girl!.

How wonderful it was to be able to hold our grandbaby.
Sarah just got in from school to hold Hailey.
Hailey was very sick and we did not know how much damage this meningitis may have done to her. She was not allow to eat for 48 hours. After 24 hours of being diagnosed with meningitis she also got the flu. The doctors were in shock that this poor baby had both of these illnesses at the same time.
Rebekah and Drews first time to hold Hailey since she came into the emergency room and ICU.
The day after they took her out of ICU, while in her own room, she started breathing weird. So they called all doctors to get to Haileys room to see what was going on. At on point there was about 25 doctors in the room.

This was taken not long after she was put into a regular room. She hadn't eatten for 48 hours and her tummy was hurting. It was a very hard thing to watch. The was squeezing my finger to tight.
Slowly our sweet grandbaby started to improve.
Slowly taken off of one machine after another. Prayers were still being lifted up for her. More people were hearing about Hailey's condition.
Finally she was off of all the machines. Every 6 hours she would be put on a machine for an hour to get her antibiotics. She did this for 28 days straight.
This was taken not long before our sweet baby girl got to go home after 28 days in the hospital.
My mom who is battling cancer got to come up from Alabama to see Hailey, her great- grandbaby.
The guys at Drews business put this on the sign.
Every day we watched as God touched this precious little baby and brought healing upon her body.
Jesus loves the little children and this little baby had an angel in her room.
Mommy and daddy also lived at the hospital for 28 days.

God is still healing the sick. I saw him do it right before my eyes. Thank you Lord for watching over our Hailey Claire and allowing us to keep her with us. Thank you for answering the many prayers that was lifted up for her. Hailey is our miracle baby.
