Sarah is Legal!! Driving!--new car

Sarah took her siblings for a ride today. The boys loved it! Sarah's car is a 1993 Saab 9000. It has a cd player, alarm, shoulder belts throughout the car, air bags, a/c, etc. It has a few bumps and dings but she loves it! And she looks good in it too. Happy birthday/ graduation Sarah!! =]

Sarah is Legal!!! Driving!

Well, Sarah took her driving test and passed. She is now legal to drive without a parent. And she got her first new car! I think I will be seeing the backside of this car a lot. lol

My Prize 4-25-07

I went to Lifeway to pick up some graduation gifts for our seniors at church and came across this picture. This is one of Richards favorite pictures that Lifeway sells. Very Expensive($180.00)!! The Lord gave it to me for $33.75. Isn't that awesome!!! In the picture you will see, Jesus face with his hands stretched out(center), on the left you can see Jesus caring the cross, etc. I hope you can click on the Road to the cross so you can read what it says. Hopefully it's readable.

He Did It!!! 4-24-07

David took his learners test and passed it on the first try. Congradulations David!!

4-23-07 Happy 15th Birthday David

Here are some pictures from the eventfully day!

Davids 15th Birthday-April 23,2007

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Today is David's 15th birthday! WOW! So hard to believe that he is that old. It just seemed like yesterday he was turning 6. It has been a fun journey and sometimes a hard one(emergency rooms).lol David is a very tenderhearted kind of person and he is growing up to be a wonderful young christian man. Your dad and I are very proud of who you are becoming! And we look forward to many more birthdays and adventures with you. We love you, David, Mom and Dad.

Thunder Over Louisville Fireworks

The had the best fireworks show I have ever seen. It was totally awesome!!!
I know I had a lot posted, but it was a fun filled day of non-stop events. It was also nice being on my turf again (Kentucky Bluegrass State)!

Fireworks

Just before the fireworks show, they had a helecopter fly over with an American flag.

Fireworks

This was one of my favorites! How often do you see a cross flying in the sky.

Airshow/fireworks

I wish the first picture came out more clearer. It was really cool because from a distance you couldn't tell if it was one plane or more. This was the lead into the fireworks.

Airshow/Fireworks

I wanted Rebekah to take a good picture of Richard and I. So, she decided to keep snaping the camera when we weren't ready or when Richard was playing around. I think we ended up with an ok one.

Airshow/fireworks

Here we are hanging out and having some fun before the fireworks begin. We are hanging out with one of Richards clients-Fox41. We are at the highest level that you can get to, besides the hotels behind us.

Airshow

Here are some close up pictures of them. One of the guys held up a poster that said "America Freedom" . It was really cool and he waved to us all. He got really close to where we were.

Airshow

This B2 Stealth fighter was really cool to see. I can't remember if these helecopters are the sky soldiers or Black Hawk. But it was really cool to see how much water these things can move just by hovering over it. These guys put on an awesome show for us!

Military helicopters

There were the Apache, Black Hawk, and Jayhawk. They were really cool to watch as they did simulaions of battle.

the Airshow

I'm not sure what kind of planes these are, but I'm sure they are the older ones.

Thunder Over Louisville

Just before the air show begins, the miilitary shoots off their cannons from the bridge. That was really cool to see and hear. And then, periodically they would shoot them during the fireworks show.

Thunder Over Louisville

They had some military vehicles for the kids to go inside of . The vehicle is a military fire truck, the second one is a vehicle that go's in before the ground troops to clear the way of the enemy. It has a big barrel that it shoots with.

Weird in the Ohio River

Here's one of those strangest things!

The Ohio River

Earlier in the day before the show began we hung out by the Ohio River. Oh, across from the river is Indiana. It was really interesting watching some of the strangest things flooting down the river.

Downtown Louisville, Kentucky

We went to Louisville, Kentucky to see an air show called Thunder Over Louisville. This is from the night before the show. We went downtown to eat dinner.

David's project

For Art class David had to make something from around the house that represented a person or animal. So, he made a fish out of Pine tree, metal duct tape, roofing nails, cd and a cd player. Richard helped him a little bit.
