Start reading from the bottom. He's still a little doped up as you can see. He's bumbed because he can't play anymore football at school! Over all, he is doing a lot better now. Thank you for your prayers during his surgery. We had a wonderful doctor and nurses!!
Well, on Nov. 13th David had surgery. He can't bend down, pick up heavy things for 3 weeks. He can't participate in any kind of contact sports for 6 weeks. Forget trying out for wrestling. ={ Maybe next year. He has to keep this splint on for 1 week. They also filled his nose with dissolving gauze to keep the bone in place. The doctor said that it won't block his nasal passage. So, he can take a deep breath through his nose.
Sure enough the specialist said that it is fractured and displaced on the right side. He has to have surgery. Great!
I took him to our primary care doctor and he said the same thing...it looks like it could be fractured.
On Nov. 5th David was playing tackle football in P.E. As he was tackling this one kid, the kid swung his elbow around and got David on the right side of his nose. I get this call from David at school that he thinks he's broken his nose.
